One of the most visited places in New York city are:

Times square is an intersection surrounded by light and media. Media is in every corner and it is basically considered a major commercial intersection. Who wouldn’t want to visit a location with a high defining view at any time of day?

Empire State Building – The Empire state building “has been stripped from its title of the world’s tallest building, [even then] it is a symbol of New York itself, visited by more than three million people each year” (A view on cities). The 103-story skyscraper has impacted and influenced in many ways. For example it’s starring film ‘King Kong’ and ‘West Side Story’ (Wikipedia). It’s 1945 plane crash incident also caused a damage in the city and loss of lives (Wikipedia). The reason the empire state is so popular is because it’s history has impacted many.

Central Park – Central Park is surrounded by “historical buildings, statues, monuments, beautiful bridges, and of course plenty of nature” (A view on cities). This is a peaceful location where you could spend a peaceful time. Most people occupy this space to do a picnic, walk, take out their dog to play, and have a nice time while being surrounded by nature.
