Problems?

Indeed, New York city is ‘The City that Never Sleeps’…and that isn’t thrilling to some people.

There is always noise in NYC. This, of course, affects those who are close to the noise. Many experience,”loss of sleep, increased heart rate, cardiovascular constriction, labored breathing, and changes in brain chemistry” (Ron Chepesiuk). Therefore, if you enjoy a good sleep don’t move to New York.

One effect the Women in New York are having is complications with pregnancy. This is because “environmental pollutants at levels currently encountered in New York City adversely affect fetal development” (EHP). Due to many people living in this city, it’s hard to control all the litter that ‘s being produced. Secondly, litter pollutes water and if it gets too polluted it’s not drinkable anymore. Also, once trash is floating around animals might mistake it for food and this can harm them. While animals “find their food among the trash [they]
can pick up germs and become carriers for diseases that may make people sick” (Flagstaff). In this case it’s not just affecting the people but the environment as well. This problem might end in even a bigger one if NYC’s citizens don’t put a stop to it.

If you were to be moving to NYC, you’d be having a hard time. The population in NYC is “8,405,837” (The wall street journal). If you think about the amount of people there is and the amount of land in NYC, it will be tough to find a home. When apartments are found “the place is cramped, uncomfortable, and cramped” plus, when owners are selling they specify not to “email; call or text only, they say, then they don’t pick up or call back” (Dave Infante). In some cases prices can be high and you have to deal your way to make the price much smaller, that’s if you’re able to.
